Don't even think of using cheap XLR cables with your microphone. It's simply not worth it. I found out the hard way when I used a couple of dirt cheap cables with my new Shure SM7B. I saved money, but the sound was pretty bad.
I also discovered another interesting thing... when I touch my Cloudlifter, it makes a buzz too. Not sure exactly why, but it does.
I'm new to Voice-Overs and narration.
I've never been paid to do voice acting or narration but I'm learning right now and I thought it would be great if I shared what I learn, as I learn it. Why not follow along and learn together?
