The Telecommunications Service of Trinidad and Tobago (TSTT) has described the granting of an injunction in favour of the CWU as surprising.

On Friday, after filing an industrial offence and for injunctive relief against TSTT, the Communications Workers Union was successful in putting pause to TSTT's plans for subsidiary AMPLIA to take over its residential fibre optics service pending hearings on the matter.
