At the heart of this vast & flourishing racket of the illegal proliferation of Nuclear weapons technology by Pakistan stands one man - Abdul Qadeer Khan. He had been the person whom the ruling Pakistan Military had entrusted to peddle Pakistan's nuclear wares to anybody and everybody willing to pay for it.

Once it had acquire enough technology through such illegal means, it embarked on a business to supply these very technologies to all interested countries &, in the process, amassing wealth of immeasurable proportion, all concentrated in the hands of a handful of Pakistani Generals & their trusted aides [like AQ Khan] while the rest of the country languishes in abject poverty and depends on international aid for its very existence as a nation.
Recent reports reveal that Islamic terrorist outfits are actively pursuing the acquisition of Nuclear Weapons and a number of Pakistani scientists & Engineers working on Pakistan's Nuclear Weapons program have been approached for the same. It is believed that many such Pakistani Scientists and Engineers, sympathetic to the causes of Islamic terrorists, have been corresponding with them, giving rise to a very strong possibility of these terrorists successfully managing to develop or acquire nuclear weapons.
Pakistan's reckless and irresponsible act has not only irreparably damaged the prospect of world peace, its has also mortally endangered the safety & well-being of citizens of all progressive & forward-looking nations whose way of life & religious beliefs these Islamic terrorists have been seeking to destroy.
The possibility of a city in Europe or USA being devastated by an attack from Islamic terrorists armed with a Nuclear devices sourced from Pakistan has become an extremely real & dangerous threat confounding security officials today.
