Today’s tutorial is a stunning one shoulder blazer dress, a little similar to my last tutorial with the one shoulder detail.

This is a special video as this was an order for one of my clients. I thought it would be a great opportunity to film the process while I created this dress and share it with you all.
My client wanted a one shoulder blazer dress with a modern and edgy look, and I was more than happy to create this for her. She wanted a few little changes to her dress, such as a slightly longer hemline with a higher neckline for more coverage around the bust and I was happy to accommodate her requests. It was the perfect dress for a holiday party.
In this tutorial, I will take you through the entire process of creating this dress, from cutting out the fabric to sewing the final seams.
For fabrics is used:
. Medium weight Mikado silk ( for the Blazer part of the dress)
. Sequins ( for the bustier dress)
. Taffeta ( for the caped collar, welt pocket and belt)
. Taffeta lining
. Weft Fusible interfacing
. Breast pads
. 1/2 polyester boning
I hope you enjoy watching and learning how to create this beautiful one shoulder blazer dress. Don't forget to like and subscribe for more pattern making and sewing tutorials.
