September is the month to choose from the widest range of flower and foliage colours of heathers. We sell small 9cm plants and larger 1 and 2 litre sizes. Plant them in groups of three or five of each type for a large bed or, in a small space, plant them in ones and twos. The Heather Society recommend using five plants per square metre in order to carpet the ground completely.
