Moru Curry or Pulissery is Kerala Style Sadhya recipe which is served as a part of Sadhya's. This south Indian Moru curry became more popular in other parts of India and now it has become a popular Indian dish in other parts of the world. The curry is a traditional dish of Kerala and also, it is one of the main dishes in Kerala Sadhya. The curry is prepared in different ways according to the ingredients used.
Ingredients for Kerala Moru Curry (Pulissery):
Cucumber - 600g
Pumpkin - 100g
Coconut - 1/2 portion
Green chilli - 1
Curry leaves
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Water - 1 cup
Curd (Medium Katta) 700g
Cooking Oil 2 tablespoon
Mustard Seeds 1 teaspoon
Fenugreek Seeds 1/2 teaspoon
Dry Red Chilli 3 Nos
Curry Leaves
Salt to Taste
