The Qigong Five Elements is a practice that helps bring healing to the body as well as mind body and spirit. These exercises focus on the five major organs of the body and the flow of energy between them.
Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water, in Chinese tradition are the five elements to fundamental health and wellbeing in which each element relates to one of the five major organs in the body. Below are the elements and their corresponding organ.
Each element also has its own energy, rhythm and sound. When we connect with that energy, rhythm and sound the healing of the mind body and spirit begins.
Wood relates to the Liver, Fire relates to the heart, Earth relates to the Stomach & Spleen, Metal relates to the Lungs and Water relates to the Kidneys. Each of these elements has its own unique energetic frequency and we can tap into that frequency with the use of sound.
