In 2021, we visited one man’s ambitious lockdown project – to restore one of the three 9.2-inch guns perched on top of the Rock of Gibraltar. 🇬🇮

The guns were never actually used in anger, even throughout the war, but they were fired regularly in training – in preparation for attack.

It’s almost half a century since the sound of the guns last rang out across Gibraltar and we thought we’d return to find out exactly how you fire a 9.2inch – from the man who did it last.
