Political parties are bullshit
Today I want to talk about "political affiliations". Perhaps it is just the area I live in, but it seems to me that for the most part people don't take the time to think about what they believe in anymore. There have been countless times I have been talking to people who seem to be conservative in their views, only to state that they are liberals. For example, one friend, who is an avid gun fan, told me that he voted a straight democrat ticket in the last presidential election. I asked him if he understood that democrats were, for the most part, supporters of gun control. I pointed out Barack Obama's own stance for disarming america. The friend, not surprisingly, was offended by my remarks. He told me that his father was a democrat, there for, he was a democrat. I told him that if he had been born in Russia, he would most likely be a socialist. That got him.
The point I, am trying to make here is simple. People don't take the time to think anymore. They just believe the media hype they see on television. They just "Buy in" to what CNN tells them is right. I wonder how many of them would change their views if it were possible to prove to them that the media is nothing more than the propaganda machine that The U S Government employs to indoctrinate the masses?
I myself, am begining to realize what a sham the whole system is. And I will leave you with a single question to think about. Who got us in the mess we are in. But before you scream George Bush, think about this. What was he a part of?
The government.
It seems to me that all politicians are crooks. They want nothing more than to steal the money you have to feed your children, only to line their own greedy pockets.
So, which side of the fence are you on?
