The old trees shake their leaves free; the golden leaves of autumn now are falling. The flowers are gone, the mountains have snow once again, and a cold wind blows. Winter has arrived. It is a season of change and reflection. For the wildlife that inhabits the peaceful forest, it is a time for rest and rejuvenation, but as the last Rabbit burrows its hole into the ground, it pauses for a moment, a weird since of dread seems to fill the air. For a moment, the creature merely believes it to the coldness of the season that has gotten to him and enters its hole for warmth. Soon the ominous feeling of dread escapes him.

As spring returns to the forest, the animals begin to run free across the open woodlands, but as the rabbit emerges from its hole, and looks into the sky, the same sense returns. What is this strange intuition it keeps feeling. But before it can ponder anymore, a strange crackling is heard from the sky above. As the animals of the forest look up, they see a fiery spear falling from the air to a clearing in the woodland by the lake. As the spear crashes into the ground, causing a small impact of flames to emerge, most of the animals run off in fear, all but one lone rabbit.

As it makes its way to the clearing to investigate, it see a wondrous amount of mechanical creatures surface from the impact. The creatures soon begin to spread out, the rabbit, now filled with fear runs off into the clearing. As it reaches the cliffs at the boundary of the forest, it sees a woman at the edge. As she approaches the small rabbit, she says, "Do not be afraid my small friend, for you will the spirit that Rescues this forest," as she bends down to pick up the bunny, she holds it close to her and continues, "I am to be your Tour Guide, I have been sent here from the Underworld to give you a gift. One that would allow you to summon forces strong enough to defeat these Synchron creatures that have invaded your forest to claim its natural resources," She turned the bunny to face her. She looked deep into its eyes and new its answer. She set it back on the ground and stated, "Now my little Rescue Rabbit, are you ready to show these Synchrons who this forest belongs too!"
