In this completion phase we decided to have a Plaster Party!
We all attempted to plaster the wall, which I thought we did rather well, until Zakes, our local builder, showed up and showed off with how its really done!

The One Brick Project is about empowering individuals by uniting community members together to assist each other in the necessary ways to create change. Specifically to this project, we use second hand resources found within the community to build houses for those in need, while raising funds to purchase additional materials needed and to pay members for labor.
We are currently in the process of building an eco-friendly earth-house for Lungile Nqcobo, a lady from the rural community of Oakford, Verulam.
