I originally was going to fish a pond that’s kind of on public grounds or at least that’s what it use to be until people vandalized the canoes that were there for people to use. For some stupid reason they cut off the handles of the canoes which is what I was told by the person who stopped me before I could even get close to the pond (I stuck out like a sore thumb so it wasn’t hard to spot me 😂) because of the stricter rules they implemented. After I got kicked out I was pretty much going to head back home since the only reason I drove a hour and a half was to fish that specific pond so there was no point in going anywhere else in the same area since I didn’t know the it too well, but before I could even pack my stuff up the same guy who kicked me out told me to follow him and he ended up taking me to one of his favorite fishing spots. He also gave me a couple of tip about catch crappie underneath the floating dock. There was no reason for him to do any of that for me, but for a stranger to go out of there way and do that makes me super grateful! We need more people like that in this world. You definitely don’t get too many opportunities like that in life so take everything you’re given and don’t take it for granted. As long as you’re respectful and don’t talk back to anyone (unless you have a good reason) then you might have the same thing happen to you. I only caught one bass, but who knows what would’ve happened at the pond. I might have gotten skunked that day had it not been for that stranger. Thank you! 🙏🏻 ☺️
