What is a Tabata timer? A Tabata timer is used for high-intensity interval training (HIIT). HIIT is when you exercise at a high intensity for a short burst of time, followed by a timed rest period. Then, it's repeated as many times as you want. We recommend starting out slowly, and working your way up to higher intensity as you increase your fitness level.
