Irregular verbs. We know—they're scary. Especially in English, which has a lot of them. And there are no shortcuts to learning them; they just have to be memorized. Verbs that look like they should fall into patterns generally do not. Why should it be "stink - stank - stunk" but not "bring - brang -brung"? To make things even worse, not only the conjugation but also the pronunciation of these words tends to be irregular. The reasons for that are complicated, but they have to do with the fact that many of these are among the oldest words in English, and the pronunciation often follows the languages from which the words were borrowed.
But fortunately, we've compiled a big list of irregular verbs for you. You can watch this video anywhere—at home, in line at the market, at a boring event. So, let's get to work on English irregular verbs! [ Ссылка ]
