Beijing Watches reached out to me and I took a look at their catalog — Instantly I fell in love. Not only do they make relatively standard dive watches, field watches, dress watches, aviator watches… But they make some highly complex movements — Including minute repeaters, tourbillons, bi-axial tourbillons. You name it… They probably make it.  I’ve always been intrigued by brands that have the guts and the mechanical know-how to develop their own movements. In Switzerland… We have Rolex. In Japan… We have Grand Seiko. But now we have a new player from China… Welcome Beijing Watches to the club.
