Stress lines mainly occur where wall thickness changes greatly, the gate location, and the sharp corners of the product.
There are three reasons for this from the injection molding process.
First, the low injection pressure. If the injection pressure is not enough, the set high injection speed cannot be achieved. But too much pressure can probably lead to excessive part pressure and the appearance of stress lines. So it is important to choose the right injection pressure.
Second, the high holding pressure and long holding time. If the holding pressure and time are increased, the stress will also increase. The holding pressure and holding time should be appropriately reduced.
Third, the low temperature of the mold and material, so caused the stress unreleased in time and remained.
