ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has scheduled for hearing the intra-court appeals against the trial of civilians in the military courts and the petitions filed against the proceedings of the Supreme Judicial Council of Justice Mazahir Naqvi. The Supreme Court of Pakistan has decided to hear the petitions against the proceedings of the Supreme Judicial Council of Justice Mazahir Naqvi. Sources of the Registrar's Office of the Supreme Court said that the hearing on the applications of Justice Mazahir Ali Naqvi will be held on December 15. Justice Mazahir Naqvi has filed applications against the proceedings of the Supreme Judicial Council. Besides, the hearing on intra-court appeals against the decision of the trial in the military courts of civilians will be held on December 13. Sources say that a larger bench will hear intra-court appeals related to military courts. It should be noted that the federal government and the Ministry of Defense have filed intra-court appeals against the decision of the Supreme Court in favor of the trial of civilians in military courts. According to the sources, it has also been decided to record the court proceedings of Bench One of the Chief Justice of Pakistan and release all the materials on the website of the Supreme Court. The above-mentioned decisions were taken in the meeting of the three-member committee of the Supreme Court under the chairmanship of Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa. The committee includes Justice Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice Ejazul Hassan.
