The recent release of the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Index Report for 2014/2015 showing Nigeria dropped seven places from the last ranking owing to weak institution and infrastructure among other things, has drawn mixed reactions.
But the National Competitiveness Council of Nigeria argues that despite fears around weak institutions, poverty and limited infrastructure, there have been a fundamental transformation to ensure an improved business environment.
