This is a very special video to me and I really do hope that all of you enjoy it too.
After a great flight that fine May morning, from Anglesey to Cardiff, and filming the inaugural Qatar Airways A350, along with my good friend Archie, it was finally time for me to fly back to North Wales.
Afer kindly being dropped off at the airport, I then proceeded to security where there were no queues to hinder me.
Once through I waited in the new departures section of the terminal, waiting for my gate number to display, before making my way to the gate for my Eastern Airways flight.
Once a quick tag was placed on my haversack and tripod I then proceeded straight out onto the apron to deposit my 2 bags onto the waiting trolley placed next to the front door of the aircraft.
A point to note is that I did not spend a single minute waiting at the gate prior to boarding, boarding the aircraft was immediate as soon as I arrived at the gate.
Once aboard I was greeted by the familiar face of our flight attendant who had also been on our morning service to Cardiff.
A quick passenger announcement was the followed by pushback , engine startup before we then taxied to the runway.
We passed a Eurowings A320 which had arrived from Palma De Mallorca as you can see at 5:50 (Be sure to check out MrAviationguy's video of it too in the cards section of the video) before then continuing on to the runway.
So kindly my mate Archie filmed me depart and has allowed me to use that footage and atc in this video. My massive thanks to him.
You can watch us depart from inside the cabin from 8:38 , and from outside at 9:32 (so cool to watch from 2 different angles).
A quick flight ensued up to Anglesey where we climbed up to 13,000ft. As was the same in the previous flight complimentary drinks and snacks were offered as you can see at 12:47.
We then began our descent into Anglesey , where the weather had changed quite drastically from that same morning, before landing on runway 19 at RAF Valley (Anglesey Airport).
A quick taxi to the apron and engine shutdown brought a great flight to another end. The crew very kindly allowed me one last visit to the cockpit where I was able to see the systems all in operation as you can see at 21:11.
Once again another amazing experience with Eastern Airways and one which I shall not forget for many years to come.
I would recommend ANYONE trys this flight between Anglesey and Cardiff as a return flight costs as little as £40 throughout the week.
It is a once in a lifetime experience to affordably fly on the iconice BAE Jetstream 41 along with the UK's finest regional airline.
Again huge thanks to MrAviationguy for all his help and support throughout the day and really adding to what a fantastic day ans trip I had. Cannot thank him enough, make sure to check his channel out.
