Sophia Rodriquez, an eighth grader at Trinity Episcopal School, presents today's Natchez History Minute about the hanging of Henry Wirz on this day, November 10, 1865 in Washington, D. C. The commander of the notorious Andersonville Prison, Wirz was hired by wealthy Natchez planter Levin Marshall as an overseer for one of his Louisiana plantations.
