In lesson 1, we said that Research is a systematic, scientific and objective search for knowledge ([ Ссылка ]). This means that there are defined steps that should be followed when conducting research.
In this lesson, we are going to discuss steps that are followed when conducting quantitative research. You may be asking yourself, why quantitative research? This is because quantitative research's' plan is quite predictive. It is therefore possible to have a starting point and an end point. In lesson 15 ([ Ссылка ]), we discussed, steps followed when conducting qualitative research. Remember, qualitative research plan is quite emergent therefore its a back and forth process.
There are researchers who advocate for a six-step process while others advocate for eight-step process. In this lesson, we shall discuss the eight-step process.
