We tend to separate the Ages by fan preference in genre, however, one strong factor is also a change in aesthetic in an industry when the old guard leaves and new people come in. This episode discusses 6 key Golden Age Comic Artists who left the industry for other careers, which was a clear sign that a new Comic Book age was around the corner. They are Mac Raboy, Lou Fine, Jack Cole, Dan Barry, Will Eisner and Alex
Schomburg. We discuss what they were most famous for during the Golden Age of Comic Books including Captain Marvel Jr, the Ray, Hit Comics, Plastic Man, Lev Gleason, Daredevil, Comet, Flash Gordon, DC Comics, Timely Comics Covers, Quality Comics, the Spirit, PS Magazine, as well as the Nedor Covers.
