This is a travel tour of Isla Mujeres located just 6 kilometers northeast of Cancun, Mexico.
Isla Mujeres (Spanish for "Island of Women”) is a small Caribbean island where the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea meet in the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico. It is approximately 7 kilometres long and 650 metres wide.
It is ideal to enjoy aquatic activities such as diving, snorkeling with tropical fish amid coral reefs, boat rides, catamarans and kayaks. Isla Mujeres also offers a wide variety of tempting options for beach lovers. The beaches shine thanks to its fine white sand and its warm and crystal clear turquoise waters; you should not miss the opportunity to walk along the seashore and admire the sunrise and sunset.
Playa Norte (North Beach) is considered one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world; of fine white sand, palm trees and crystal clear and shallow waters. Here you can find several beach clubs where you can spend the day and enjoy a refreshing drink or a delicious meal in front of its turquoise waters.
We take a catamaran tour from Cancun to Isla Mujeres where we walk around the downtown where Playa Norte is as well as the ICE Bar for lunch Buffet. We also snorkel through the art-filled seabed in the Cancún Underwater Museum.
The Cancún Underwater Museum (known as MUSA) in Cancún, Mexico contains more than 500 life-sized sculptures, making it the world’s largest underwater display.
