The protests against the police killing of George Floyd, a black man, have seemingly gained more momentum than similar movements in the last few years. To dive deeper into why the protests in 2020 have more momentum than in years past, VOA's Steve Miller, host of the International Edition radio program reached out to and spoke with Dana Weiner associate professor of American history at Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada.
