- In a pressure cooker add 250 gm overnight soaked black chana, water , salt as per taste, 1 blackcardamom, 2 greeb cardamom, 1 cinnamonstick, 1 bay leaf pressure cook on hight heat than 3-4 whistle on low heat
- heat 3-4 tbsp oil add 1 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp crushed coriander saute for 30 seconds
- add 2 onion paste fry on high hear until brown
- add 1 tsp ginger paste and 1/2 tsp ginger paste fry on medium heat
- add 1 tsp green chilli finelychopped well
- add 3/4th cup water 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp kashmiri red chili powder, 1 tsp kasuri meethi powder fry for 2-3 minutes on low heat
- add 2 Tomato paste, st as per taste fry on high heat until oil separates. Add 1/2 cup water mix cover & cook for 6-7 minutes on low heat.
- open add 1 tsp chana masala, 3/4th cup brown onion/barista fry for 2 minutes
- add boiled chana with water mix cover and cook on low heat for 4-5 minutes.
- open add 1 tbsp tamarind pulp fry for 2 minutes. Add 2-3 slit green chili, coriander leaves chopped, ginger juliennes
- Chana masala is ready
