The countdown to Moon Gate resort's opening is official on! The Hotel & Spa will begin operation in April 2025. This month developer Cameron Fraser summaries the September building activities as we ramp up construction onsite.
Sales have been exceptional with most of the hotel’s First Phase suites already sold. The first 24 units of Phase Two of the development are set to be launched imminently due to the high demand.
Meanwhile, work continues apace on site. Construction on the interior of Buildings 1, 2 and 3 is progressing well. On Building 4, the team is hard at work on the fourth floor where the swimming pool has also been cast and the roof is now being created. On Buildings 6 and 7, the fourth floor slab and plunge pool are being formed.
In the main kitchen, electrical and plumbing installation has commenced and the team is making headway on the a la carte restaurant, main bar cellar, guest bathrooms, reception and lobby. The swimming pools are also taking shape.
Critical infrastructure, such as the reverse osmosis plant and cistern to ensure an uninterrupted supply of water, is also advancing well, while the all-important standby generator is now in place.
