Phnom Tamao Zoological Park was established in 1995 with a total area of 2,285 ha of protected regenerating forest, this is the largest Zoo in Cambodia. Phnom Tamao Zoo is a place for wildlife and forest conservation, approximately 120 wildlife species were rescued (mammal, birds, and reptile) and about 59 tree species including rare and endangered species.
