Used buddy assist to catch a shadow Zapdos with excellent curveball throw in the Pokemon Go game. It broke free, and subsequent throw caught it. The encounter was a bonus in the Go Fest 2020 task.

as task step 3 of 6. Each time we defeat a leader we get a reward for a Shadow Legendary bird. It's a research reward, not a regular battle that gives out limited ultra balls - this is to guarantee you will catch the reward - no run away or worry about running out of balls.
