Florida foreclosure attorney Steve Kramer explains how mediation works and how it may be the best possible option during your foreclosure case.
In many types of cases, there are lots of different options in your lawsuit. Among going to trial, you may have the option of mediation. Mediation is where the two parties get together -- outside of court -- and try to work things out. For a while, mediations where actually required by state law for every foreclosure case. While that's not true anymore, mediations can be very helpful in solving your case. You will sit down in a room with your attorney, the bank and their attorney, and a mediator to try and come to a resolution that doesn't involve time in court. If a solution is reached, you'll move forward and never go to trial. In any case, going to trial isn't always the right move. We pride ourselves in helping you understand your options and not pushing one option on every single foreclosure case. All foreclosure cases are not the same and you need specific attention to your needs. Watch the video now to learn more.
