As part of the Saving Our Soils During Drought Program Local Land Services have produced a series of case studies for livestock producers across the state to assist landholders in the decision-making and management of their livestock through dry times.
This confinement feeding case study demonstrates how an enterprise can retain their core breeding stock during dry times, utilising confinement feeding areas. “Glendalyn” is a Merino sheep enterprise located near Binalong in New South Wales.
This project received funding from the Southern NSW Drought and Innovation Hub as part of the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund.
