The Baris Gede dance is performed at specific ceremonies such as cremations and in this instance durng the temple ceremony of the mother temple of Pura Besakih, Bali in the shadow of the sacred mountain of Gunung Agung. Performed here by dancers of Kita Art Community, Celuk, Bali on 22 March 2011 the dance is a dedication of warriors and their weapons to the gods.
