Here's my latest trip report! Yesterday I took Loganair's new service from London Southend to Glasgow. The aircraft used for this flight was the Embraer ERJ 145 G-RJXH.

This was my first flight on the Embraer 145. If you know we well you know I'm not keen on Embraer due to the 190's tech reputation. This flight was thankfully tech free. The ERJ 145 is in a 1-2 layout with 18 rows on Loganair. The window and seat alignment is great throughout the cabin unlike the 170s and 190s. Rows 17 and 18 have superb engine views, row 9 is where the wing starts. For those who prefer a clear view with no obstructions I recommend the front half of the cabin. Noise wise the 145 is fairly loud. It's certainly the loudest Embraer I have flown, but the close proximity to the engines would explain this. The 145 is fairly cosy, smallest plane I have flown on as of now, the lavatory is tiny!

Loganair as an airline are fantastic! Certainly one of the better airlines in the UK! This trip cost me £108 round trip. Seat reservations cost £6 per seat apart from emergency exit rows which cost more. Seat reservation is free of charge 3 days before departure. On this flight you get a complimentary drink and snack, something BA could bring back!! I would recommend this superb little airline to anyone who travels to/for work etc.

It's worth noting that Loganair have a filming requests section on their website. It's very simple, you just have to state your name, flight number, camera size etc. Cabin crew are sent an email about the requests. Our cabin crew member, Vicky, was totally fine with us filming. I included the filming requests form at the end of the video.
