This is the George Enescu International Festival’s 2021 sizzle reel, a curtain-raiser on its 25th Edition, and a memo frame of its long history dedicated to the music and personality of the illustrious Romanian musician George Enescu.

The greatest international cultural event organized in Romania, and one of the most relevant of its kind worldwide, a hot spot of classical music which animates the Romanian capital every two years, the Enescu Festival features in 2021 an exceptional program, celebrating the 140th birth anniversary of composer and violinist George Enescu.

This year’s edition unfolds under the History Made With Love tagline, precisely because it aims to share with the world how the Festival’s great history has been continually made out of love for music and for George Enescu. It’s a history that goes into the future, around and owing to Enescu’s music, despite the pandemic and other crises, thanks to all those who never cease to contribute to its writing.
