A virus cluster linked to a Melbourne meatworks has spread to an aged care home after a close contact tested positive to COVID-19.
There have been 49 cases linked to the Cedar Meats abattoir.
Douttagalla aged care home in Footscray has been put into lockdown after a staff member at the facility tested positive to the disease.
A nurse who treated an employee at the abattoir has also tested positive.
