Arasi was a Tamil serial, which was a fantastic sequel to the series named “Selvi”... The new mega serial chronicles the battle of wills when a highly-respected and successful police commissioner, Senthamizharase, comes face to face with Selvi, the illegitimate daughter she gave up at birth. At the same time, the serial aims to resolve old storylines carried forward from "Selvi" and introduces new characters such as Senthamizharase's family, as well as subplots revolving around these characters. The serial star Raadhika Sarathkumar, reprising her role as Selvi from the prequel and also taking on the dual role of Senthamizharase, Sivachandran as Judge Karthigeyan, and Venu Arvind as GJ.
