Decentralized dewatering is the new alternative solution for small municipalities especially those reaching up to 10.000 PE. The conditions did not allow these small wastewater treatment plants to be cost-effective in the past, but the conditions have changed and hundreds of wastewater treatment plants has adapted the concept of decentralized sludge dewatering by using VOLUTE technology.
It is not only cost efficient but it also provides benefits to both - the community and the wastewater treatment plant. AMCON has been promoting this concept since 1990s all over the world.
