Set to premiere next spring is the horror thriller, The Woman in the Yard. Executive produced and directed by Jaume Collet-Serra from a screenplay by Samuel Stefanek, the film follows a depressed widow (executive producer Danielle Deadwyler) who, after a dangerous stranger (Okwui Okpokwasili) shows up at her front door, must confront her own past in order to protect her two children. Russell Hornsby, Peyton Jackson, and Estella Kahiha also star in the film, while the creative filmmaking team includes casting directors Terri Taylor and Ally Conover and production designer Marc Fisichella. Jason Blum and Stephanie Allain produce the film, while Gabrielle Ebron, Scott Greenberg, and James Moran also serve as executive producers. A co-production between Blumhouse, Homegrown Pictures, and Ombra Films, the film will be theatrically released on March 28, 2025 by Universal Pictures.
