As thousands of people seek to flee Afghanistan after the Taliban takeover, charities such as World Vision say they are committed to staying in the war-torn country. World Vision has had to temporarily suspend operations for the safety of its 300 staff based there. But Afghanistan national director Asuntha Charles says the charity organisation will remain in the country to help tackle the humanitarian crisis and hopes to restart operations soon after talks with the Taliban.
