In this video, we're going to compare the MoogerFooger Ring Modulator MF102 hardware pedal to the Moogerfooger software VST version. Here you can listen to some of the similarities, as well as the differences between the two and decide which one you prefer.
I was quite excited when @moogmusicinc recently announced their whole new versions of software MoogerFooger VST's. I'm a big fan of their hardware. I've got pretty much all of them and I dig their design, largeness, functionality, history and not least .... that low, down dirty, angry yet gooey and juicy sound.
Though I have tried to level match the two fx, this video is basically still just a subjective demo.
