This is the "project" I hinted at at the end of my last video. The tank was initially filled on December 27, 2019, I narrated and uploaded this video two days after the discus arrived on February 2nd, 2020.
The 100 gallon tank contains many aquatic plants and mosses including Parrot feather plant, ludwigia repens, various java fern, various anubias, crypt. parva, and flame moss. The fish stocking for the tank is currently about 22 cardinal tetras, 7 amano shrimp, two german blue rams, one clown pleco, and one dwarf chain loach. It is a low-tech planted aquarium with a sunsun 304b canister filter.
The Discus quarantine is a 29 gallon bare bottom tank. The fish stocking is three red melon discus, and three red turquoise discus. The filter is a cycled aquaclear 50.
