This is a short video showing a 2000-gallon underground storage tank removal for you to see the process. The fuel had been pumped out and the tank had been entered and cleaned prior to it being lifted out of the ground. Next it will be taken to a licensed tank-recycling yard. This job took place in Leominster, Ma. The customer called us because there was evidence of a leaking fuel supply line. Because the underground tank was old and had some corrosion, the customer decided to replace it with a 3000-gallon Highland aboveground tank. A new cement pad was poured next to the building for the replacement tank and new fuel lines were installed to the boiler room.
