The Cavaliers' late comeback effort came up short against the Tigers, and UVA took a 66-57 home loss. Auburn led by as many as 15, but Virginia cut the lead down to three with 4:36 left. Unfortunately, that would be as close as UVA would get. Kymora Johnson had a double-double for the Cavaliers with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Latasha Lattimore added 10 points and five rebounds. For Auburn, Deyona Gaston had 23 points, six rebounds, five steals, three blocks, and three assists.
