In this video I will tell you how to find M 13, the Great Globular Cluster in Hercules and I'll tell you a little bit about it and then I will show you what it might look like through a pair of binoculars, a 6" (150mm) refractor, and a 12" (304 mm) Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with a sketch made on white paper and also an inverted image with a black background to give you a good idea. I included a photo I made of M13 a few years ago but honestly this is one object that looks better through the eyepiece.
