Edward Taylor plays the gentle and lyrical Pastorale by British composer and arranger, Edwin Lemare.
This piece is in A -B - A form, ie the first section is repeated at the end. The opening melody is played on the swell oboe accompanied by the Dulciana of the choir organ. The middle section is played on the solo clarinet accompanied by the swell soft flute and gamba. Little interjections from the Great 4' flute are achieved by 'thumbing' down onto the great manual.
