Performed at Jodaiko's 2008 Spring Concert is "Enkai", arranged by Emily Yoshihara & Michael Gusukuma.
This piece is an arrangement of three traditional Japanese folk songs, Hokkai Minyo Cho (also known as Hokkai Minyo no Shirabe), Soran Bushi, and Oiwake. "Enkai" in Japanese means "deep ocean" and the song is meant to reflect the beauty and power of the sea.
**The instrument played by Emily is a Japanese instrument called a Koto**
