Abandoned overnight after a 20 hour flight delay, I set off to the Lithuanian village of Karmelava to discover a bit of local culture just near to Kaunas airport!

I made some unexpected discoveries, including cemeteries, Lithuanian food of potato pancakes with minced meat, onions and sour cream, and dark beer. Before I finally made it on to my flight to Norway!
