Schools are closing, stores are running out of toilet paper, and families are being asked to stay home and self-quarantine to slow the spread of coronavirus. But what do you do when you are stuck at home, all day everyday, with small kids? This video will show you how to turn your bore-an-tine into a fun family time that everyone can enjoy (or at least survive with your sanity intact). Scavenger hunt Ideas
Indoor: matching socks, a house fly, a piece of fruit, a red toy, something that starts with the letter g, a toy with wheels, something round, something smaller than your hand, something with a number on it
Outdoor: a rock shaped like a heart, a big leaf, a butterfly, a black bird, a caterpillar, something heavy, something tall, 3 sticks that are different sizes, a flower, something that smells good
Ice Cream Recipe:
1/2 cup of milk, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 4 cups of ice, 4 tablespoons of salt, 2 quart sized ziplocks bags, 1 gallon sized zip lock bag (or coffee tin), a hand towel
Mix milk, vanilla (or chocolate) and sugar together and pour into quart sized bag. seal tightly with no air remaining. Place bag into the other quart sized bag with no air remaining.
Put both bags into gallon sized bag and cover with ice and salt. Seal the bag and let all air escape.
Wrap the bag in a towel and shake for 15-20 minutes.
