Saturday the 7th September was the 2013 Knightcon event at Xscape Castleford. The show is held yearly and the theme is all about starts, cars and heros, consisting of mostly movie related things, including some of the most iconic cars from films. Some of these included Knight Riders, Back to The Future DeLorean, Ghostbusters Chevrolet, Bumblebee and Optimus Prime and much more. As well as film cars, there was also a great line up of normal American muscle cars of all types, including what is probably the biggest variety of Mustang's I've seen in a day, including the Shelby and ASC Dominator Mustang, not forgetting the Bullitt Mustang of course. Another car that really stood out was the Ken Block Ford Focus Gymkhana Car, not a car to everyone's taste but in my opinion it looked truly amazing, like nothing else out there. This event is a great day out, and this year attracted over 40,000 people to Castleford to see the event, including people who bring Knight Riders from all over the world such as Germany.
