Here is how to decide what frame rate you should shoot your videos and content in:
1️⃣24fps: choose this frame rate if you are making a short film, recording a music video, or are looking to make your videos more "cinematic" (as wacky as that sounds lol)
2️⃣30fps: this frame rate is noticably smoother than 24fps. Choose this frame rate if you are creating content for social media (I shoot these videos in 30fps), content for websites or some advertisements. (Sometimes shooting ads in 24 is better)
3️⃣60+fps: shoot in 60 or more fps if you are planning to slow down the footage. Yes - this trumps point 1 and 2. If you are filming a short film that needs to have a slowed down part, film that part in 60+fps. Shooting in more than 60fps takes up a lot more memory but gives some sweet results, especially for sports, cars and more. Always a good option to be able to switch over to 60+fps.
⚠️🖥️Side tip: the only time you should EXPORT a video in 60fps is if you're creating gaming videos, otherwise choose 24 or 30, even if it's sports. Watching a 60fps video is usually pretty weird unless it's a video game.
