Establishment
1)Established in 1854, College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) is a public/ government college that is autonomous in nature.
2)It is one of the oldest colleges in Asia that is aimed at offering quality education in the fields of Engineering and Technology.
3)COEP is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
4) The college is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. COEP works on the principles of Strength, Truth, Endurance, Ethics and Relevance (STEER). Presently, over 725 and 342 students are enrolled in the courses offered by the college at UG and PG level, respectively.
